An elderly dog, believed to be 15 years of age, cries in pain from inside of his holding area at a busy, open-admission animal control agency in California. The senior dog, dubbed “King Arthur,” appears to have endured a long life of neglect – is is believed that he is blind and suffering from maladies which have left him very uncomfortable.

King Arthur is being held in the medical portion of the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena, California. Right now, because of the upcoming holiday (4th of July) the facility is critically full, which puts all animals in danger.

This sweet soul looks like he’s been neglected his entire life and he is uncomfortable and scared. he was so bother when I woke hi, he tuned his back and curled up. He let out a little mon that sounded so sad and painful, almost hopeless. He needs help fast so he is not stuck in he Shelter during the scary 4th of July. Please SHARE for his life, he’s SO precious and a FOSTER or ADOPTER would save him.

Please network King Arthur’s information and help him find a reputable rescue agency to take him in and provide him with the care that he so desperately needs.

  3. I spoke to LA animal control, was told she was rescued. They couldnt give me the rescues name but she did give me an email address to request information in who. I am doing this now. I pray this precious furbaby is safe. Hope to hear updates soon.

    • I would love updates too.

We are praying he finds a furever home where he is loved and treasured…….

He is almost the same age as my precious MacKitty (& he deserves to be as treasured and loved)!!!!!!!

I wish he could be a snuggle buddy for MacKitty (he is fighting liver cancer & could use a buddy to snuggle with since his best friend, a chihuahua-greyhound mix, just passed away)……….

  4. PLEASE SOMEONE AROUND THERE SAVE THIS ANIMAL. NO ANIMAL SHOULD BE KILLED. THE MEANING OF A SHELTER IS A PLACE TO PROTECT NOT MURDER!!!!!!

  5. Sadly his rescue was to late.. ???? he suffered with such pain that he was allowed to leave this earth knowing he was loved and a gentle hand.. It still breaks my heart and don’t understand why it took so long for him to get medical attention. He is free. RiP precious King Arthur.
