Visually impaired senior dog remains homeless at shelter

A senior, visually impaired dog (possibly blind) is waiting to be rescued from a busy California animal control agency. The 10-year-old dog, dubbed “Texas,” is described as both people and dog friendly.

Texas, identification number A4995272, has been at the Downey Animal Care Center (Los Angeles County) since he was picked up as a stray on September 21…in the weeks that have passed, nobody has come forward to claim him as their own.

Texas could use the help of strangers to help him leave this busy animal control agency and join a family. Please take a moment to share this senior dog’s information and help him find his new owner, and a safe, loving home.
