Dogs in fear after being surrendered
Spread the love

A video, taken on October 16 at the Harris County Public Health and Environmental Services facility in Houston, Texas, reveals the fear a pair of dogs is experiencing after their owner surrendered them.

The dogs, “Caney,” and “Bella,” (both females) are obviously distraught over the loss of their home and family. In the video, taken one day after the dogs were surrendered, the pair huddle on the floor, shaking in fear and appearing to try to disappear from the strange and unfamiliar environment which they have been plunged into.

Owner surrenders at open intake animal control agencies are at the most risk of being put down (due to the lack of the stray holding period). Please take a moment to help this fearful pair of dogs find a loving owner (or reputable rescue agency) where they can relax and feel joy once again.
