In Houston, Texas, three men are suspected of breaking into Pet City located at Bammel Westfield Road early Saturday morning to steal puppies. According to Click2Houston, pet store owner Sheri Stack said surveillance video showed three men pull up to the store in a white pickup. Two of the men pried open the store’s door, entered and ransacked the place.

The men used a sledgehammer to smash the glass to gain access to the puppies. The eight-week puppies stolen were four English bulldogs presumably worth $3,500-$5,000 each. They also took two French bulldogs valued at $3,500.

“They just want to sell the puppies and make some money,” Stack said, but she is very worried about the puppies health. “The English bulldogs can’t go outside. The heat can kill them.”

The dogs require special care. One of the puppies was injured as he jumped out of the cage. Pet City owners have offered an $800 reward for each puppy returned safely.  Anyone with information is urged to contact Pet City at (281) 587-2336. You can also call  Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
