Sparse fur, a graying muzzle and sad eyes can be found on a 12-year-old German shepherd who is currently being held at the Downey Animal Services facility in California. The elderly shepherd, named “Precious,” is essentially hidden from public view thanks to her pitiful condition.
On Friday morning, the following information was posted to Facebook on behalf of this homeless dog, “With a decorated Kennel Card with writing of sweet girl and walks well on a leash is Endearing Precious. She is in the non viewable building because of her skin condition. She needs help being seen to be rescued and cared for forever.”
Precious does not appear to have enjoyed many luxuries in her life – and now, she finds herself completely homeless. Please help this senior dog find someone who is capable of providing her with the care that she needs by taking a moment to share her adoption information.

This beautiful senior is named Precious. And that’s how she be treated, which obviously hasn’t happened. At least not recently. Unfortunately, the shelter has her in a section of the shelter where she’s not seen, and therefore, not rescued. Precious desperately needs our help. She needs a foster home, pledges for her care until she finds her furever home and a rescue group to oversee her care. Please share to help her start her new life and not become a victim of time/space.

Just look at her face, she is begging for help!!! Please someone get her out of that shelter & take her to a vet & get her the help she needs. DON’T CONTINUE TO LET HER SUFFER DAY AFTER DAY ALL ALONE, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! Thank you in advance??
If a rescue can pull precious and arrange to get precious to plano tx, I will take precious in until her home can be found or until she lives out her life. Honest abe
