A kind-hearted shelter worker was so moved by an 11-year-old senior pup who undoubtedly had been broken and defeated, she was rescued from the euth’ room at the last moment. Quinn now has been given a chance to find love and kindness.quinn-the-pit-bull-2

According to shelter volunteer, Sal Valdapena, Quinn was “literally pulled out of the euthanasia room by a ‘big hearted AC worker’. Let’s help Quinn find her way out of the shelter. This poor girl has attack wounds all over her body.” And now the quest is to find a home for this dog – foster or permanent, but nevertheless a safe and loving situation while Quinn is nursed back to health. A Facebook page for Quinn can be followed here.

I have been at the Downey Animal Care Center since October 15, 2016. I am available on October 19, 2016. You can visit me at my temporary home at D227.” And after years of obvious abuse – including her ears severely chopped away, Quinn still has hope in her eyes. Share this poor dog’s plight with friends, family, approved rescue organizations and social media contacts. Help find the one person who Quinn will be able to count on – whether she lives three more months or three more years.
