A tiny German shepherd puppy, with special needs, could use a helping hand. The nine-week-old puppy was surrendered to the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena, California, on August 24 – according to the Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page, the puppy’s owners gave her up because they were unable to provide her with the veterinary care that she needs.

On Thursday, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs explained this puppy’s unique situation:

This sweet baby girl was born with some medical issues with her legs, she has no knee caps.. and is going to need support for this . She needs help now. Please SHARE for her life, she is VERY special and a FOSTER and RESCUE would save her. Thanks!

This young puppy will require veterinary attention – she may benefit from a wheelchair and physical therapy. Please take a moment to share her adoption information to help her find the people who can give her the care that she needs to thrive.
