Tagg is just a puppy, listed as no more than 10-months of age. For most of the day, the anxious puppy stands on his hind feet – front paws resting on the steel bars of his cage watching everyone pass by.

“Maybe someone will stop and pet me? Maybe someone will let me out of here so I can play?”

Yet, the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter is so crowded and sadly doesn’t have enough volunteers to attend to all of the dogs in need, Tagg has to wait, and wait he does. Click here for Tagg’s Facebook page as volunteers and advocates share his story. A shelter volunteer posted the following about this very friendly puppy:

“Tagg waits all day like this watching the door waiting for someone to see him. Ironic the first kennel you see is his as you enter shelter , just another gray Pit?? Sad.”

A puppy with a full life ahead of him may never see his first birthday. Share Tagg’s plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives. Tagg’s future depends on his friends – every life is worth saving.
