A pitifully neglected puppy was left outside of a spay and neuter clinic in San Pedro, California. According to Spay Neuter Project L.A., the pitiful pup, dubbed “Charlie,” was left alone in the cold outside of the clinic’s door.
On Sunday, the non-profit animal welfare organization introduced the neglected puppy to its Facebook followers:
Meet our new resident at SNPLA, Wee Charlie! He was left alone in the cold in front of our San Pedro location door. He is currently being treated for demodex and secondary bacterial infections. We are doing all we can to treat but we are asking for donations to help with his long term treatment.
The abandoned puppy is skin and bones – but he is finally safe and out of harm’s way. Anyone hoping to donate towards Charlie’s care can do so at this link to SNPLA’s website.
SNPLA is the largest nonprofit spay and neuter animal welfare organization in California – the animal welfare’s vision is to ensure that spay, neuter and veterinary wellness services are affordable and accessible to all pet owners in Los Angeles. The organization strives to create an environment in which animal shelters no longer euthanized adoptable pets.
Get well soon Charlie!
Charlie got lucky. He landed in the right place. I hope we will get to see an update when he is healed and adopted.
Thank you for taking care of him…finally SOMEONE is! Get well soon, sweet Charlie! ???? ???? ???? ????
I hope those who hurt this precious sweetheart suffer the worst fate ever!
