Owner uses belt as collar and leash to dump dogs at shelter: Flicks finger at them and said ‘bye’

As both dogs stared in total confusion from behind the bars of the  portable kennel cages their owner pushed them into on Monday  afternoon at Carson Animal Shelter, the entire scene was one of both heartbreak and anger. The man had tethered the dogs with a belt – used both as a collar and a leash. Owner flicks finger at dogs Both dogs appeared to have suffered from neglect; their skin irritated with clumps of hair missing and their nails the size of rakes.

“He then literally flicked his finger at them and said ‘bye’ in the most hateful way…” stated long time volunteer Sal Valdepena. “The look of confusion was so sad. Honestly I wish I could have put them (owners) in the cages and take the dogs with me.”Owner flicks finger at dogs 2

So why were the dogs surrendered? According to their heartless owner, a new baby came into the home.

Meet Bentley who is four years old. And with Bentley came his bonded brother named Homer who is the same age. Click here for his Pet Harbor listing: A4985681. “My name is Homer and I am described as a male, brown and white Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter thinks I am about 4 years old. I have been at the shelter since Aug 22, 2016.”

Both dogs have been described as having beautiful and gentle personalities. Their skin conditions are very treatable, and they need help now.Owner flicks finger at dogs 4 There is no waiting period for surrendered dogs; two more sweet pit bulls who desperately need help. Please share their plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives, and every life counts. The shelter is completely full.  The Carson Shelter is located at 216 Victoria Street, Gardena, California. Phone: 310.523.9566.

I hope the “new baby” is treated better, but I won’t be surprised if it isn’t. I pray only bad things for this moron that can dispose of the family pets like this! May he rot in hell!

  2. Tim Brady says:

this fuking killing of Pit Bulls or any bother breed has to end at this facility, the people putting thes pups down should be charged with felony animal abuse for killing healthy dogs and I presume cats and other abandoned pets

  3. Janet says:

My heart just literally broke. This man ia disgusting. What’s he going to do when he’s sick of his kid, dump it off somewhere. POS!

  4. Penny's Dachshund says:

BEFORE I even went to the article I thought to myself (” This has to be NONE other than CALIFORNIA”)!!! CARSON the worse of the shelter hell holes too!!! Sadly they will be gone by the administration at the place!!! EUTHANIZED !!! NOT even Given a fair Chance to be adopted or RESCUED because of the BIZARRE Way California WOULD MUCH RATHAR KILL>> HELL IT IS after all the unvested, neglectful, irresponsible, worthless, non-motivated Guppie population that is dumping their pets at the blink of an eye, or the twitch of a finger…. Myself I Extend my MIDDLE FINGER on my right hand to these POS scum bags.

  5. maxiemom says:

Heaven help the baby of this filthy POS. The child won’t have a chance with someone as cold and heartless as this. Those dogs deserve better.than to be taken someplace where they have a chance of never leaving alive. Damn this scumbag to hell for being the miserable piece of excrement he is.

  6. virginia green says:

find the person and put him in a cage and if not that.make him pay for all cost of the 2 dogs in the shelter until they find new safe homes to live in.

  7. Jennifer Henderson says:

There is no doubt that the owners are pieces of shit they knew nine months ago that they were going to have a baby and did nothing to try and find homes for these beautiful angels, what is even more heartbreaking is it they have already lost a piece of shit owners and now they are in separate Kennels why are they in separate kennels? why can’t they be kenneled together? after all all they have is each other now and for the shelter to separate them makes no sense whatsoever sure the kennel is small but for two of them to be in there together after they spent their whole lives together it would not be a problem for them please please put them in a kennel together

    • Penny's Dachshund says:

I would venture to say they are NOW GONE ( rainbow Bridge) because Carson is noted as NOT KEEPING or CARIMG about the unfortunate little, big, young, old, animals one IOTA!!! Just make room for a new group every couple day’s ….. One of the worst shelters in the USA!!!

  8. Debbie says:
