A Fort Mohave man faces felony animal cruelty charges after he was arrested on Monday for stabbing and killing his dog. According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office press release,  Thomas Olroyd told authorities that demons told him to repeatedly stab his dog.

Approximately 5:00 p.m., deputies from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office in Arizona, responded to a welfare check at a residence after a friend reported she had been concerned about Olroyd’ suicide threats.  When deputies arrived, they found the dead dog in the yard. Olroyd, 47, told deputies there were “demons on his roof” and later stated “he didn’t want to, but he killed his dog by stabbing him.”

The dog appeared to have suffered from injuries that Olroyd described. Mohave County Animal Control responded and took custody of the deceased dog.

Fort Mohave Fire Department personnel responded and transported Olroyd to Valley View Medical Center.

Rest in peace sweet dog.

  1. Demons? Probably alcohol or some kind of crazy drug, and if so, I hope that’s the end of him. If he is mentally ill, give him meds and lock him up because he needs serious help.

  2. Sorry about the demons and make me do something stupid I think you’re f****** Axe and chop your f****** head off a piece of garbage you piece of s*** for my friends around the corner she’s call Carmen and she’s a f****** b****

  3. Ok, what was this “demon” hearing POS on? I suppose we should be happy he didn’t stab his “friend” that was worried about him committing suicide! I hope he is somewhere he can’t hurt anything or one anymore.
