On September 8, a good Samaritan picked up an obese senior dog who was in the middle of a busy intersection in San Bernardino, California. Today, the senior dog, who is estimated to be 15 years of age, is at the San Bernardino City Animal Control, waiting for her owner to find her.

A brief description of what is known about this dog’s rescue was posted to Facebook on Thursday:

Found in middle of intersection on Tippecanoe in San Bernardino , CA
Trying to cross streets . No cars would stop to let her go through, a Good Samaritan got her and brought to shelter!

The elderly dog was obviously someone’s pet – social media networkers are hoping to get her photo circulated in an effort to find her true owner. Please take a moment to share this senior dog’s photo and shelter information.
