A California rescue agency is pleading for a foster home for a dog who is nearly blind, and stuck in a boarding facility. The dog, a Labrador retriever mix named “Blacky,” is in need of a foster home because he is not doing well in boarding.
Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue, the rescue group caring for Blacky, stated:
Our sweet, almost blind, Blacky is NOT doing well in boarding at all! He needs a quiet, loving home ASAP!
The group added:
Blacky is a sweet, lovable guy, who would be content to snuggle all day long. He is not good with cats or small dogs. He has already lost one eye and is on the verge of loosing his other to glaucoma. We need him out of boarding ASAP!
Blacky is not a fan of small dogs or cats, but he is already crate and house-trained and he is described as good with kids and adults.
Please share this information to help this deserving dog find his way out of boarding and into a loving foster home – Blacky is located in Southern California. Interested in helping? Email [email protected] or fill out the online application.
