It has been nearly a year since a heartbroken cat has spent living at the grave of her deceased owner in Central Java, Indonesia. According to the Daily Mail, a passer-by noticed the cat crying and tried to bring her home and give her a loving home. 
No matter how hard Keli Keningau Prayitno, 28, a father of one child, tried to adopt the cat, the loyal feline continued to return to the grave affectionately purring and rubbing against the small blue headstone of Ibu Kundaki. The striped kitty walks to her former home everyday where she is fed by the relatives of the dead woman – but then the forlorn kitty returns to the grave, and that’s where she sleeps – every night.
“Since the cat’s mother died, she has stayed here at the grave. She does not want to go home. She has been here for almost a year,” stated Keli. ” I thought she was homeless and tried to help, but every time she would keep returning to the same place…I followed her, and she was going to the home where she used to live and the lady’s children would feed her.”
Then the sweet cat would return to the grave where she still meows as if calling for Ibu, and then the little cat slept. And despite many people offering her a home, she still prefers the grave site.
Who says animals don’t feel emotional pain?
