Xavier is an eight-month-old terrified puppy who has never had a chance. With very limited socialization and few who have ever shown him any care or respect, the black and white pooch crawls into the corner of his kennel cage at Roswell Animal Care and Control. Maybe he thinks he can hide from the noise and the strangers? Maybe he thinks someone will come and rescue him? Brought into the shelter on November 18 as a stray, his exit date has been listed as November 25.

No information has been made available as to Xavier’s disposition, but his life is in peril, and advocates are asking that this 26-pound puppy’s plight be shared with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Funds have been pledged to help an approved rescue with the puppy’s future veterinarian and care expenses. Give a puppy a chance at life – help Xavier.

I live in new Jersey I would love to take care if the little doggie my CESAR would be his big brother and he would love him too. No animal, doggie or pet should go thru that. I do believe the pet owner should go to jail and pay the penalty on dumping the poor defendless doggie in the animal shelter.

That is an approved rescue and if they would act as the rescue “middle man” and we can arrange transportation I would be happy to be his forever home. I am home full-time, retired. We live just a few feet from a county dog beach, on the end where very few dogs are, if at all. I can handle just about any problem, be it medical or behavior and have just an middle-aged spayed female Pug, who loves all dogs.
I just wish I could win the big lottery and get my own rescue sanctuary.
