A handsome German shepherd named “Rocky” is listening and watching for his owner from behind the bars of his kennel run at the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena, California. Unfortunately, the five-year-old dog will not see that person again because Rocky was given up…his owner told staff at the animal control agency that they no longer had time for their dog.
The Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page wrote of the dog’s increasing anxiety:
ROCKY has this idea that his busy family is coming back for him and just before we left we could see his anxiety and confusion building. he is extremely smart and he knows thing are bad.
Rocky is five years of age – he is in the prime of his life. Through no fault of his own, he is sitting behind bars like a common criminal. Please help change this handsome shepherd’s fate by taking a moment to network his adoption information.
