Every dog deserves a home and by and large, most homes would benefit from the sheer joy that a dog can bring. Sunday’s adoptable pet is Ginger, a lovely seven-year-old German shepherd who was surrendered to The Blue Mountain Humane Society in Walla Walla, Washington on August 1.

Ginger is more than beautiful – she is a smart dog who is already house-trained and crate trained. Potential adopters who are seeking a dog past the pesky puppy stage should consider giving this gorgeous girl a chance to enhance their life.

Ginger’s biography reads:

I was previously kept as both an indoor and outdoor dog. I circle around the door to let you know I need to go potty and I am crate trained and can “hold it” for 4-8 hours. I enjoy bath time, although I am a little sensitive of my tail and hind quarters. I enjoy going for car rides and love to tag along for some “us” time. I chase cats so I would prefer to go to a home with human and dog companions only, if possible. I dream of a home where I can spend time relaxing with my human companion, soaking up as much love as I can and returning that love two-fold.

Enticed by the beauty and brains of a German shepherd? Reach out to the Blue Mountain Humane Society at (509) 525-2452 to inquire about Ginger. Ginger’s adoption fee is only $50. Click here to find her profile.
