Meet Monday’s adoptable dog, “Raja,” a stunning brindle boxer mix who lost her home when her owners moved and she was surrendered to a busy animal control agency in California. In early August, Raja was left at the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena – her owners gave her up because they were moving (and apparently she was not part of their plans).
Raja’s list of attributes is long – according to shelter volunteers, Raja is sweet, quiet, calm and gentle. On Sunday, the Facebook page for the Carson Animal Services facility wrote:
Raja is a spectacular four-year-old cream-brindle-and-white spayed female Pitbull mix left at the Carson Animal Care Center on August 4 because her former owners were moving and didn’t make provisions for their pet. Raja scored a B on her temperament test!
Though Raja has all of the makings for a wonderful companion, she is not safe. Carson Animal Services is trying to find her a new family, but homeless pets are put down here due to space constraints (or illness). Please help Raja beat the odds by taking a moment to share her adoption information – networking saves lives!
