Update 8/10/16: Adopted!

One day ago, a dog-lover reached out for help on behalf of a homeless dog who is in danger of being put down. The email request for help began, “This beautiful dog has the sweetest personality and has the best markings you’ve ever seen, literally a black eyebrow over her left eye! I had to go up to meet her when I saw her owner walking her around outside the facility, not even occurring to me that she was soon to be dumped because she was so gentle, really well behaved, she came right up to me, sat down and waited for me to pet her. And she was very well taken care of, had on a brand new pink harness and leash.”

It was unthinkable that this sweet, well-behaved dog might be losing her home, and possibly her life. The woman who saw her that day at the Riverside County Animal Control in California explained, “I seriously thought her owner was there to pay for her dog license. I was in shock when I saw her posted on PetHarbor with her pink harness still on, broke my heart.”

Assuming that the darling eyebrow, coupled with a wonderful temperament, would be enough for this now homeless dog to be quickly adopted was, unfortunately, just a dream. The woman now hoping against hope to see this dog find her way out of the facility alive wrote, ” I figured that such a wonderful, unique looking dog would be adopted immediately! I was wrong. She is still at that shelter, and she is a Staff Favorite, but now she is on the URGENT list, and she needs to get out ASAP.”

Please help this displaced pet find a happily-ever-after by taking a moment to network her information.

I just can’t understand the world we live in any more because So many people just disregard their pets, kids, parents, grandparents, without a care in the world or A LOOK BACK!!!
