Markie was abandoned and dumped in the parking lot of California’s San Bernardino County Shelter this week. An advocate and long time volunteer recounts the tragedy on her social media page:
“My heart hurt so bad for little Markie,” posted Andrea Neyses on her Facebook page. Sunday evening. “I saw a lady set something out of her car as I pulled into shelter Saturday; didn’t take to office but left on asphalt in between two cars to be easily run over. Yes, Markie, not long after, died in arms of one of the most loving shelter workers of all, it’s just so wrong …he deserved better ! This was a Hispanic lady, doesn’t speak English and also dropped a cat off , a rescue took.”
According to Andrea, this kind of cruelty isn’t an unusual occurrence. Sadly, this happens much too often.
“Unfortunately, this happens everyday at every shelter; please take pics, plates? They’ll think twice before doing again, it’s time for the good guys to speak up or even remain anonymous. Does anyone know whose dog this is?”
No reason has been given as the puppy’s cause of death, but none of that even matters considering the egregious circumstances and the puppy’s suffering . It’s called animal cruelty, and the person who owned Markie should be held accountable. Report all animal cruelty. Help little ones who have no voice get justice. Rest in peace Markie.

Please donate to the ASPCA. They help the dogs in Asia being tortured. Thank you.
Yes it is a shame how evil. People are to any animals they do it all the time thinking. That no one sees BUT GOD SEES EVERYTHING. GOING ON IN THIS WORLD THEY WILL PAY HE WILL SEE TO IT YOU CAN’T ESCAPE THIS SIN WILL.GET YOU STRAIGHT. TO HELL
why doesn’t this shelter, one of the most famous, have cameras,so they can record all the license plates of the scums that dump their pets?
such a simple solution. what’s the problem?
These people that do such horrible things to animals, they are heartless. Is it that they feel people won’t want to help? Are they afraid of judgement or are they just cruel for the sake of cruelty? My Heart is and will always be with the animals. For the kindness and undying love they give. My Heart belongs to animals.
Little Markie, God bless you. Play with my boys and girls in Heaven. I love you all.
You called her lady I have to correct you if she was a piece of s*** of course she wasn’t even being adhere quarter you could put her in jail prison for life
I think all people should be screened
Some people should not own animals
You have to be a special person and devoted to caring for one as you would your children they give us their undying love ❤️ and for this quality we should be thankful I have no time for abusive people we need to start some kind of registry and keep track of all abusers with their picture.??????????????
Not sure what all the shock is about…this is CALIFORNIA. The lives of children just before birth are considered disposable. Why the shock over animals?!
