Shortly after the chained dog was brought to the facility, a video was uploaded to the volunteer-run Facebook page for the shelter, and a few words about her sad situation were posted as well:
Video shot 10.10.16 This girl was the victim of an eviction 🙁 She was brought in with a CHAIN and a LOCK around her neck! ugh! The shelter staff cut off the chain. Eviction holds are 6 days. I don’t know about you all, but I’m kind of hoping the owners DON’T come to reclaim. She deserves so much better.
It is apparent that this dog has never known the pleasure of being a loved and treasured part of a family…judging by the chain and padlock, she was nothing more than someone’s “yard art.” Please share the adoption information below to help this dog find a real home.
