In Flagstaff, Arizona, authorities are asking for the public’s help finding the person who abandoned a small white dog with duct tape binding  his legs and subsequently throwing him in the wash of the Rio De Flag. The dog was rescued with his legs bound together by a good Samaritan on Sunday who heard the dog barking.

According to the Facebook page of the Flagstaff Police, the dog was found near the 500 block of South Verde Street and both its front and rear legs had been taped together making her unable to walk or stand. The person reported hearing barking the previous night, but had not realized the dog was in danger. When he heard the same frantic barking the next day, he found the dog at the bottom of the wash which had been rising since the recent rain and snow storm.

Fortunately the dog was rescued and is reported to be in good physical condition. Police have labeled this an act of animal cruelty and are asking for any information on this dog and/or a possible owner. Please contact Detective Conway with the Flagstaff Police Department at (928) 679-4065 or  contact the Flagstaff Police Department at (928) 774-1414 Silent Witness at .(928)774-6111.

Please share this information with family, friends and social media. Help this little dog find justice.

  1. Seriously???? If you decide you don’t want a dog, there are SO MANY OTHER options other than just throwing it away! Why is there so much heartless ignorance and stupidity in our country? Best of luck to this little girl! May you find a LOVING HOME! ? ? ?
