For days Molly, a two-year-old pit bull terrier mix has been lying curled up in the City of San Antonio Animal Care in Texas. According to the shelter, Molly suffers from a prolapsed uterus, and more than likely because she is in pain has not been cooperative with the shelter staff.

Molly is no longer listed as adoptable on Pet Harbor, however on Saturday morning, Animal Control responded with the following message:

“Molly has until 2 PM to find placement or she will be released to euthanasia. Our clinic has consented to repairing the prolapse with confirmed placement. Please have any rescues interested in her email [email protected] to tag her before 2 PM.”

There have been no confirmed rescue organizations that have as yet stepped up to help Molly. Please share her desperate plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives, and Molly’s future hangs by a thread. At this time, the shelter can not assess her temperament; Molly is just too ill.

  1. instead of repairing a painful potentially life threatening condition the shelter left her in a kennel to suffer just because she didn’t have either foster or adopter, shameful
