A blind, senior dog dubbed “Ringo Star,” is waiting to be saved from a busy California animal control agency. Ringo Star, a 10-year-old terrier mix, arrived to the Contra Costa County Animal Services facility on June 24 and nobody ever visited the shelter to claim him as their own.

Little Ringo does not let his blindness get him down – a video (link here) shows that this pint-sized dog adores being carried and snuggled and though he cannot see, he uses his nose to help him get around. Ringo can even tell when he is being put back into his kennel run – and it is obvious that the run is not where he wants to be.
