A blind dog is currently being held at a busy, high intake animal control agency in California. The dog, whose name and age is unknown, was taken in as a stray at the Baldwin Park Animal Services facility on December 1 – to date, nobody has come forward to claim him as their own.

On Sunday, a woman who volunteers her time photographing dogs at the facility posted a photo of the dog, along with a few descriptive words:

very sweet, blind male tan/black Lhasa Apso who came to the shelter as a ‘stray’ on Dec 1. His chip hold ends 12/11/16. He weighs 23 lbs.

The dog’s “safe” holding period ended yesterday – he could use a helping hand from strangers to find a new, loving home or a reputable rescue agency to take him in. Information for life-saving networking below.
