Update: Rescued!

When Panther (identification #A4915613) was a cute little puppy, he was adopted from the Lancaster Animal Services facility in California. When Panther grew up, his family betrayed him…they moved to a new home and Panther was sent back to the busy animal control agency where he started.

Now, Panther is on “the list.” The dreaded “e-list.” Call it what you will…if he is not rescued or adopted, he will lose his life. Panther has skirted the odds since he was surrendered by his family in July.

According to shelter notes, this young dog, who is not even a year of age yet, is already house trained and he gets along well with other dogs and children too.

Panther needs the help of strangers if he is going to make it out alive – according to one of the advocates who is trying to save him, he has until day’s end to be saved.
