With the help of a neighbor who provided a john boat, firefighters were able to paddle to the middle of the pond to rescue the senior dog who was struggling in the cold water. Mollie was pulled from the water and brought safely back to shore where she was dried off and wrapped in towels and blankets.

Thank you for rescuing this be senior! God bless. I hope the owner will keep better eye on her in her situation. Glad she is going to be OK. How frightening for this sweet furbaby.

I hope her people take great care to see she doesn’t get lost again. Odd the neighbor didn’t just row out for the dog in the first place. It would be the only thing on my mind to get to the dog asap.
