Puppies dumped in the park now listed to die at city shelter

In the Wichita, Kansas area, five puppies were dumped in the park, and now they are listed to be euthanized at the area animal shelter.

According to the rescue group Beauties and Beasts, Inc., who are  trying to help the puppies find approved rescues or foster homes. The puppies likely were the result of a backyard breeder or a negligent owner who never bothered to have their dogs spayed and neutered.

The puppies are currently at the shelter on a stray hold and because they are scared and fearful because of lack of training and socialization, do not qualify for transfer to the adoption floor and are now listed to die.

“These babies need a rescue or foster fast! The stray hold is up in a couple days, let’s find them something fast so they can get out of the scary shelter.”

The puppies are in Kennel 130821-25 (3 females and 2 males)
