Over bred and dumped at the Downey Animal Shelter in California, a one-year-old terrified puppy shivers with fear in an overcrowded shelter full of strangers and loud noises.

Her name is Lady, and once she had her first litter of puppies, she was no longer needed and tossed away as if her young life no longer mattered. Perhaps her unfeeling owner couldn’t sell her puppies for a profit on Craigslist? Click here for Lady’s adoption listing. “My name is Lady and I’m an approximately 1 year old female pit bull.  I am not yet spayed.  I have been at the Downey Animal Care Center since September 10, 2016.  I am available on September 10, 2016.  You can visit me at my temporary home at D220.” Ask for information about #ID A4991439. Call Downey Animal Care Center at (562) 940-6898 for more information.

  1. This is so sad for this poor loveable mom, that had puppies and now is not needed, and discarded like garbage. That baby needs comfort, and loved now. You’d think that someone there would show some compassion.
